In The Dark Park is an alternative band from New Westminster, BC. We’re inspired by the 80s and 90s music that backdropped our youth but are always exploring new ways to blend sounds and ideas from our transplanted Pacific Northwest perspective. We don’t slot naturally into any specific genre, probably on purpose. Most of us like Blue Monday.
Why
Dark or light. Analog or digital. Connected or isolated. Lost or found. Real or imagined.
Music is an act of expression, enquiry, and defiance. Shared human connection. Machines and algorithms may learn but they cannot dream. That is up to us.
